Heartland Divide Wind Project

NextEra Energy’s Heartland Divide wind project in Audubon, Iowa, provides energy diversification to central Iowa with power generated by its 43 wind turbines.

Central Iowa Power Cooperative (CIPCO) purchases 100% of the 103.5 MW of clean, wind-generated energy produced by the energy center.

Sentry Electrical teams provided 19 miles of transmission line consisting of extra high strength (EHS) static and fiber optic cable with 795 Drake aluminum conductor steel reinforced (ACSR) and direct embeds of concrete guyed angles.

Sentry teams provided expert transmission line services for the Heartland Divide wind project.
