Lily Battery Storage in Kaufman County Texas
Lily Battery Storage in Kaufman County
The Lily Solar and Storage site in Kaufman County, Texas, was developed by Enel Green Power and EPCS.
The utility-scale battery storage facility sits on 2,000+ acres with approximately 421,400 bi-facial solar panels that have a capacity of 181 MWdc.
Sentry Electrical teams increased the reliability of the solar site by installing a 50 MW battery energy storage system (BESS), with the capability of storing 75 MWh at a time. The BESS holds 12,444 batteries on site to supplement a clean supply of electricity when solar power generation is low and also to offer grid access to renewable energy when demand is high.
