Mesquite Star in Fischer County

Blattner Energy constructed the 419 MW Mesquite Star wind farm in Fischer County, Texas, which went online in 2020.

Power produced by the wind farm is purchased by various corporations and institutions, including Intuit, Ecolab, Lowe’s, and Brown University.

The wind farm, which is operated by Clearway Energy, took just over a year to construct.

Sentry collections teams dug 90.6 miles of trench; installed 882 terminations, 29 junction boxes, and 126 splice boxes; and ran 478,314 feet of fiber cased in innerduct.
