Panda Saeger Switchyard Featured Project

Sentry Electrical Group worked with Applied High Voltage (AHV) & PP&L Corporation to connect the substation to the power grid.

Panda Saeger is a 230kV ring bus switchyard with eight 230kV breakers serving four 230kV pull off structures. Construction consisted of approximately 2200 feet of 5 inch welded bus with 93 bundled 1590KCMIL jumpers and 400 feet of ‘OldCastle’ high density molded polymer concrete cable system.

Sentry completed both procurement and installation of all conduit and wiring for the control equipment, lighting, and associated equipment inside the control house and yard.
